ALL Orange users are now being charged for calls to 07744 numbers.
We were first to assume that the new charges were limited to new users as posted below on Sat, 9th May. However Orange have now started charging everypody for these calls. Please check this page for details.

Orange anounced via text that they will no longer support calls to 07744 using inclusive minutes and introducing 20p flat charge for these calls for contracts started on or after 1st March 2007.

A few things to note regarding this update are
- These terms and conditions apply to new and existing customers connecting or upgrading to a Dolphin, Canary, Racoon or Panther �Animal Package� via Orange direct between 1 March 2007 and 31 July 2007.
Meaning that old contract users are excluded from this change. We have received reports from users that their inclusive minutes are still being used for these calls without any extra charge. Please confirm your self and keep an eye on your remaining minutes and account balance.
- Existing customers will be subject to the Our Customers First terms and conditions.
Orange implies here that old contract customers will still be using services under their first T&C.
- Calls to 07744 and 07755 numbers are not included in bundle and will be charged at a flat rate of 20p/min. If you do not use your inclusive minute allocation for the month it will not rollover to the next month.
Call charge for new contracts (20p / minute).
We suggest everybody with older contracts to check and call everyday while keeping an eye on account balance. In a few days it will be clear which contracts still have these minutes free.
